Product Description

Five-Axis Simultaneous Interpolation
This is the core capability. The machine’s five axes (three linear X/Y/Z and two rotational axes) can move in coordinated, simultaneous motion. This allows the cutting tool to follow any complex 3D path, enabling the efficient and precise machining of intricate contoured parts like impellers, turbines, and precision molds in a single setup.

Complete Machining in a Single Setup
By rotating the workpiece via the table or spindle head, multiple sides or even all five faces of a part can be machined without re-clamping. This eliminates cumulative errors from re-fixturing, ensures extremely high positional accuracy between features, and significantly reduces non-cutting time.
Short-Tool Machining for Stability

When machining deep cavities or steep walls, the machine can orient the part/tool to employ shorter and more rigid cutters. This drastically reduces tool vibration and deflection, allows for higher feed rates and depths of cut, and results in better surface finish, improved efficiency, and longer tool life.

Unrestricted Access to Complex Angles
The machine can effortlessly perform angled operations that are challenging or impossible for 3-axis machines, such as drilling side-wall holes, undercuts, or machining on compound angles. This eliminates the need for special fixtures and greatly expands design freedom and manufacturing possibilities.
Optimized Tool Orientation & Cutting Conditions

Through intelligent control of the tool axis, the cutting point is constantly maintained at an optimal engagement angle and consistent surface speed. This technique can utilize the stronger side edge of the cutter for more efficient material removal, leading to improved chip evacuation, reduced tool wear, and a more reliable, economical process.
